Who knew that Stones Throw had so many videos. Considering I never seen one of them I’m assuming they have been holding them in the vault just for this special DVD occasion. Stones Throw 101 packages what has to be every stones Throw video made with more Madlib cameos than you can shake a stick at. Half of these videos (especially the Lootpack and Quasimoto ones) make absolutely no sense and do not go along with the songs at all.

Common sense notwithstanding this DVD is actually a pretty nice product for any Stones Throw fan. You get both Madvillian videos, Rhinestone Cowboy and All Caps, two random as hell Quasimoto videos, and a mix of Jaylib, Breakestra, Wildchild, a few Charizma joints and much more. In addition to that there is a mix CD that comes with even more Stones Throw tracks. There is also extra credit at the end which includes a few broadcasted interviews, behind the scenes looks at the making of two videos, a couple of live performances and a full length running commentary for the videos. If you like Stones Throw you’ve probably already passed out. For new fans this, like the title suggests, is a perfect introduction to what Stones Throw is all about.
