Overview: A.O.T.P. was conceived by Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks as a super group of emcees and producers. The lineup includes Chief Kamachi, Esoteric, Celph Titled, Apathy, Reef The Lost Cause and more. The result is a stellar album, filled with grimy beats, sharp lyrics and a horror movie vibe. The amount of emcees that share mic time makes it hard for any one to truly shine outside of a verse or two. The beats, although solid, get a bit repetitive as the album goes on. Much like watching an all-star game, you know there is plenty of talent on the court, but it’s best showcased when you cop a solo album like Reef’s “Feast or Famine” or Apathy’s “Where’s Your Album?!!”
